Nokia today announced a new 3G phone that combines unique design and premium quality with advanced features. The Nokia 6555 phone features an analog clock on the cover screen, whose timeless elegance adds luxury to the design and pleases the eye of the style-conscious user. The Nokia 6555 is the first 3G phone with a flat fold design: thanks to the embedded hinge, the surface of the opened phone is uniformly smooth. Curved shapes enhance the phone’s comfort in use. The Nokia 6555 is the choice for the demanding consumer, and the price is not a barrier to its acquisition. The new model will go on sale in September.
The Nokia 6555 phone also features a QVGA display that reproduces 16 million colors – twice as many as the human eye can see. The bright and sharp 240 x 320 pixel display is excellent for viewing photos and videos. With the device’s camera, the user always gets the desired picture, as the screen serves as a viewfinder across its entire extent. The versatile imaging features also include a self-portrait function and six-fold digital zoom. Life’s special moments are easy to share with family and friends thanks to video sharing.
“Consumers have come to expect first-class quality and design from a mobile device. The Nokia 6555 is our response to this need. It offers the top features expected from Nokia phones. However, thanks to its refined design, it is more than just a phone,” says Director Markku Suomi of Nokia’s Mobile Phones business group.
The sleekness and smooth lines of the Nokia 6555 phone, along with its 30 megabytes of expandable memory (up to 4 gigabytes with a microSD card) and wireless Bluetooth technology, are features that make it a leader in its class.
Key Features:
- Flat fold design
