“Being one of the first wireless carriers to offer the feature-rich Nokia 6255i handset to our Cellular One customers reinforces the company’s commitment to be the better choice for wireless services,” said Jerry Gallegos, vice president of marketing at Cellular One. “We know that our customers are going to enjoy using a device that combines exceptional voice and data features, allowing them to enjoy digital music, take pictures and videos, and print photos wirelessly using the phone’s Bluetooth technology.”
Integrated Bluetooth technology enables wireless connectivity for both audio and data applications. By combining the Nokia 6255i with a PC that has Bluetooth technology, users can easily synchronize contact, to-do list and calendar information between desktop PIM software and the handset. Additionally, the same data link may be used to connect a PC to the Internet using the Nokia 6255i phone’s high-speed data capability. “The Nokia 6255i phone is one of the most feature-rich CDMA phones available, offering Cellular One customers the most desired features like Bluetooth technology, a camera with flash and a digital music player, in an attractive, compact form factor,” said Jamie Kiely, vice president of sales for Nokia. “Additionally, the Nokia 6255i phone doesn’t just offer powerful features, the use of Nokia’s intuitive user interface means that they are also extremely easy to use and enjoy.”
